How to Earn Your MCPD: Web Developer, Visual Studio 2005

MCPD: Web Developer candidates must first complete the requirements for the MCTS .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications certification (two exams) and then one additional exam.

MCTS .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications Course Details

Once you pass these two exams, you will automatically obtain MCTS on .Net Framework 2.0.

To obtain MCPD you need to pass another exam Exam 70 -547.

b) MCPD: Windows Developer on Visual Studio 2005

The Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Windows Developer (MCPD: Windows Developer) certification demonstrates that you have the comprehensive skills required to build rich client applications that target the Windows Forms platform, using the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.

How to earn your MCPD: Windows Developer on Visual Studio 2005 certification

To earn an MCPD: Windows Developer on Visual Studio 2005 certification, you must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications certification (two exams).
The following table lists the exams that you must pass to earn the MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications certification.

Once you pass these two exams you will automatically obtain MCTS on .Net 2.0 Framework Windows Application. To obtain MCPD Windows Developer certification, you must pass another exam Exam 50 -548.

Exam 70-548: Designing and Developing Windows-Based Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework

c) MCPD: Web/Windows Developer upgrade from MCTS on .Net Framework 2.0 Web or Windows
You can upgrade to MCPD once you hold MCTS certifications. Details are provided in a) and b) above.

In fact, many IT certifications integrate CompTIA Network+ into their curriculums. Microsoft added CompTIA Network+ into their Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) program, and other corporations such as Novell, Cisco, HP, Lotus and 3Com also recognize CompTIA Network+ as part of their certification tracks.

CompTIA Server+™ Certification
